George Cole Trio performs Cole Sings Cole and is George Cole, Larry Dunlap, and Jim Kerwin.
George Cole: Garnering rave reviews and standing ovations, George Cole has dazzled audiences at musical landmarks across the country. Cole, the suave crooner with the golden pipes, is also a six-string guitar slinger of the highest possible order. He is currently the guitarist for the David Grisman Sextet. In addition to that he was called to play for Keely Smith at her last two-week San Francisco run. This Bay Area VIP and Bay Area Music award winner was guitar instructor and mentor to 2015 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Billie Joe Armstrong and Mike Dirnt of Green Day. He continues to present his Gypsy Jazz and Uptown Swing show at performing arts centers, is signed to David Grisman's Acoustic Oasis / Acoustic Disc label for online distribution of his “Riverside Drive” album, and, first-ever live recording “George Cole LIVE!”. He is also developing original video concepts; themed concerts and festivals for various arts presenters; and new arrangements for performance by symphony and chamber orchestras.

Larry Dunlap: Pianist, composer and arranger Larry Dunlap has a multifaceted career that includes extensive work in the fields of jazz, classical and popular music. He influences include André Previn, Herbie Hancock, Oscar Peterson, Chick Corea, Gerry Mulligan, Gil Evans, Antonio Carlos Jobim, and Ivan Lins, as well as many classical composers. Larry has performed with numerous artists such as Dame Cleo Laine and Sir John Dankworth, Mark Murphy, Sheila Jordan, Ernestine Anderson and Joe Williams as well as instrumentalists Gerry Mulligan, Art Farmer, Ralph Towner, Ernie Watts, Bud Shank and Larry Coryell. He’s also toured with The Pointer Sisters, Country Joe McDonald and others. At home in jazz, classical and popular styles of music, Larry Dunlap brings a wide range of talents and a unique perspective to each of his musical undertakings.
Jim Kerwin: One of the best acoustic upright bassists on the face of the planet. 30 years as the bassist for the David Grisman Quintet/Sextet has allowed Jim to explore his broad musical tastes. He has performed with bluegrass greats Red Allen and Del McCoury. He played at Carnegie Hall with Stephane Grappelli and YoYo Ma. He worked with David Grisman and Jerry Garcia in a unique acoustic setting that encompassed a myriad of musical genres. He has also played on numerous recordings - including six Grammy nominees - from big band, bluegrass and jazz to Klezmer and Latin.
