Ken Brown
Veteran Gypsy jazz teacher
I'm new to this neighborhood.
I started playing Rock in the 60's.
Hung out with Mickey Hart
of the Grateful Dead.
Branched out into jazz, and eventually studied classical with the greatest masters.
I love launching beginners correctly.
I have an approach the guarantees fast results.
I love Latin and South American styles as well as Brazilian music.
If I can hear it I can play it, from
Bach to Santana and beyond,
and of course the blues,
which is a great entry point.
I teach children and adults, all styles,
including baritone ukulele and electric bass.

Some like it hot
We play company holiday parties, weddings, corporate events etc.
Looking forward to being part of this wonderfully diverse community.
I think that it is very important that all artists hold hands, that we assist one another, encourage one another, support one another when we falter. And in that way, we hold the temple of Art. It is too big for any one of us to do alone.
