About

Premiere San Francisco & Los Angeles vocal coach, Raz Kennedy, presents The Online Drop-In Vocal Lab, a 4 week group class, focused on cultivating healthy vocal practices and training for high-caliber vocal delivery in any performance setting. This 90-minute Drop-In Class offers an open forum which provides an opportunity for singers to explore the full range of vocal topics, from effective vocal techniques to practical tools that enhance compelling storytelling in singing. Raz Kennedy will lead participants to break down and examine the repertoire of their choosing, offering personalized strategies to improve their overall technical approach, problem solve and correct vocal inconsistencies and develop their song interpretation skills. There is no prerequisite needed to enroll in this course. Instead, each singer is invited to come and explore a range of solutions which can address their most urgent vocal challenges. All matters of vocal concerns are welcomed and will be addressed.Additionally, Raz will share practical methods to provide relief to the voice when discrepancies occur in performance and offer appropriate solutions to eliminate constrictions and quickly re-center the voice when off point. The community setting of the class provides a vibrant and supportive space for singers to experiment with different perspectives of looking at vocal mechanics. Insights from this class will serve as an invaluable tool for singers who wish to deliver strong, expressive vocal performances that captivate their audience and, at the same time, implement safe technique. Singers of all musical genres and levels are encouraged to enroll. The size of this class is limited to 10 participants....

All About Jazz needs your support

All About Jazz & Jazz Near You were built to promote jazz music: both recorded and live events. We rely primarily on venues, festivals and musicians to promote their events through our platform. With club closures, shelter in place and an uncertain future, we've pivoted our platform to collect, promote and broadcast livestream concerts to support our jazz musician friends. This is a significant but neccesary effort that will help musicians now, and in the future. You can help offset the cost of this essential undertaking by making a donation today. In return, we'll deliver an ad-free experience (which includes hiding the bottom right video ad). Thank you.
