zeena parkins and wobbly: one plays harp, one plays circuitry, both utilize and become a system of positive feedback. they have improvised together once before about five years ago in new york city, and they'll improvise again for the second time tonight.

shudder explores electro-acoustic-improvisation (EAI) phenomena with alien intelligence and garage band impulses. the trio was formed in 2004 and has celebrated its inception with numerous concerts on both coasts, including a mythical national tour of abandoned drive-in theaters and the san francisco electronic music festival. the group's penchant for excess exceeds the tenets of lower case suitability and is too serene to fit easily into non-idiomatic improvisation traditions - as a result, shudder is deemed impossible to categorize. that is the end of this transmission. ...
